What are clear aligners?
Aligners are clear, custom-fitted trays that cover your teeth. Unlike metal braces, they are removable, comfortable and almost invisible, so you can smile freely during treatment. Each set moves the teeth a small step; you change to the next set as your plan advises.
They are used to correct crowded teeth, gaps between teeth, overbite, underbite or crossbite, and mild to moderate misalignment. Because you take them out to eat, drink and brush, keeping your teeth clean is easier than with braces, and aligners usually need fewer clinic visits. We work with established aligner brands, such as Invisalign.
